Set Up a Shop for a Disabled Brother
At AMS Charity, we believe everyone deserves a chance to live with dignity and independence. Unfortunately, many of our brothers with physical disabilities face daily challenges that make it difficult or impossible to find work outside their homes. That’s why we launched the Home Shop Project — a simple but powerful initiative to help disabled brothers earn a livelihood right from the comfort of their own homes. By setting up small shops stocked with essential items near or inside their homes, we provide them with the means to support themselves and their families without the barriers of mobility or social stigma. Why this matters: Disabled individuals often face limited job opportunities. Walking long distances or traveling to work is tough or impossible. Many rely solely on charity, which can affect their sense of purpose. With a small shop, they can sell everyday goods like groceries and toiletries to neighbors, becoming active contributors to their communities.
